Minimum Wage in the City of Santa Clarita – $15.50 per Hour

 

The City of Santa Clarita abides by the minimum wage set by the State of California. Effective January 1, 2023, the minimum wage in California is $15.50 per hour for all employers. Therefore, the minimum wage for businesses located within the City of Santa Clarita is currently $15.50 per hour. Businesses located in unincorporated areas of the Santa Clarita Valley are under the jurisdiction of Los Angeles County and will need to abide by the County’s minimum wage requirements. For unincorporated areas of LA County, the minimum wage was raised to $16.90/hour effective July 1, 2023.
